Avatar

Avatar is a stilled storm. Over a black and steel-grey background run waves that coil back on themselves, and between them appear veins of a lit copper following the same movement. It is granite, among the hardest in the collection, and it answers throughout the house. It asks for surface: in a small piece the pattern is cut off and precisely what makes it valuable is lost — seeing where the current is going.
