Belvedere

Belvedere is black with a current. The background is deep, almost without reflection, crossed from side to side by the finest white threads that gather into bundles and draw a strongly horizontal movement, with the odd coppery flash where the light grazes it. Head-on it looks almost plain; under raking light its whole structure appears. It is one of those stones that change depending on which way you enter the room.
