Calacatta Gold

Calacatta Gold has the widest vein in the collection. It is not a line: it is a grey channel running down the slab and widening, opening into arms and leaving great stretches of untouched white to either side, with an ochre edge appearing where the vein meets the rim. It answers throughout the house. It is a stone for large pieces: the more surface it is given, the better one understands where it is going.
