Calacatta Ice

Calacatta Ice looks like wood grain made in stone. Grey and white bands folding into wide curves, one inside another, like the rings of a trunk cut on the bias. The tone is cold and very even, without jumps of contrast, so the movement shows without the stone shouting. Across a continuous wall the folding links from slab to slab if they are laid in the right order.
