Golden White

Golden White looks drawn by hand. Over a clean white fall thousands of the finest golden strokes, all on the same diagonal, as if someone had drawn a dry brush from one end of the slab to the other. It is not a vein: it is rain. The direction is unmistakable, so the way it is laid decides the result, and turning a piece shows from the doorway.
