Gris Rochelle

Gris Rochelle is a storm grey run through by a net of very fine white threads, spread across the whole slab without ever forming a figure that can be followed. From a distance it reads as a deep, even grey; up close all that fine work appears, and that is when the stone explains itself. It belongs to ORION SELECTED. That double reading allows a great deal of surface to be covered — flooring, cladding, a porch, a façade — without tiring. It is one of the few dark stones that do not shrink a room, because the white net gives the light back.
