Kampala

Kampala is black with vegetation inside. The background is very dark, run through with a tangle of golden and greenish veins, fine and knotted, that thicken in some areas and vanish in others. There is no clear direction: there is density. It is quartzite and one of the darkest stones in the collection; under direct light the tangle lights up and under soft light it returns to almost black.
