Mont Blanc

Mont Blanc is linen in stone. The background is a warm white run through with the finest grey threads, all in the same direction, so close together that from a distance they look like a weave rather than a vein, with the odd stronger line crossing diagonally. It is quartzite and it answers throughout the house. That continuous weave is what makes it so easy to lay across large surfaces: there is nothing to match.
