Nero Orobico

Nero Orobico is black in layers. The background is dark, crossed by diagonal strata of bronze, old gold and grey stacked one on another like ground cut edge-on, with fine white veins running through them. It holds more colour than a black usually allows itself. Under warm light the golden strata separate from the background; under cold light they merge and the stone darkens.
