Orinoco

Orinoco is cooled lava. Over a black background run cords of fire orange and white that fold diagonally, stretch and break, with the black showing between them like the crust above. The contrast is among the highest found in natural stone. On a large piece it is impossible to look at anything else, and on a small one it becomes a meaningless fragment: this one asks for a whole slab.
