Pietra di Calce

Pietra di Calce is lime and sand. A very pale, warm grey with visible grain and small dark specks scattered without order, and veiling barely paler that moves across the slab without drawing anything. It is one of those that resemble an old mortar more than a marble, and that is its value: it sets a background without setting a material.
