Saint Laurent

Saint Laurent is shadow brown. A very dark background, between coffee and black, with a clouded texture beneath and a net of the finest white veins running through it all without ever standing out, closer to a craquelure than to a pattern. It is one of the soberest stones in the collection: it gives depth without giving anything to look at, which is exactly what is asked of a dark background.
