Silver Stream

Silver Stream is the map of a terrain seen from the air. Bands of grey, white and black coiling into closed rings, one inside another, with outlines so marked they look like contour lines. There is no background and no vein: all of it is pattern. It is one of the busiest stones in the collection and it asks to go alone — beside any other with movement, both lose.
