Verde Alpi

Verde Alpi is almost black until looked at closely: then the background turns out to be a very dark bottle green, and over it appears a net of fine white veins that runs through it entirely and breaks it into irregular plates. The contrast is high and the effect is old: it is a marble used for generations and recognised at once. It goes in flooring, full-height cladding, bathrooms and outdoor spaces; for a worktop there are more suitable materials. In a small bathroom, clad entire, is where it gives its best.
