Verde Maracay

Verde Maracay is the green of a closed forest. The background moves from dark green to almost black without warning, and over it runs a net of white and golden veins that fan out and close abruptly, with brown areas at the foot that strip it of any dyed appearance. It is quartzite and it answers throughout the house. Of all the coloured stones in the collection, it is the one that changes most between daylight and artificial light.
