Zalzala

Zalzala is folded ground. Layers of grey, white and black undulating horizontally and pressing against one another, with seams of a muted ochre slipping between them and following the same fold. It is granite and it answers throughout the house. The pattern is continuous and very dense: on a small piece it reads as noise, and on a whole slab it reads as movement.
